BYNARS

Planet of Origin: Bynaus, a planet oribiting the star Beta Magellan, in the Milkty Way galaxy within a 1000 light years of Earth.
The Bynars are a species os short genderless sentient humanoids with lilac skin and enlarged skulls. They have a patch of dark purple hair on both sides of their neck and asymmetrical ears. They work and live in pairs, usually with a matching asymetries to equate to a symetry. Their primary language consists of high-frequency sounds, unintelligible to humans but they are able to change frequencies down to communicate with other species.
They developed a technologically advanced civilisation in such a way that at birth, each bynar's parietal lobe is surgically removed and replaced by a synaptic processor taht allows them to connect directly to a central master computer they built on their homeworld. Every Bynar is equipped with a buffer, carried at their waist, to help them manage the  rate of information they send and receive.
In 2364, due to a nearby star going nova, they were temporarily forced to shut down their computer which caused a planetwide black out.

BA'NETH

Planet of origin: Unknown, in the opposite quadrant to Earht in the Milky Way galaxy.
The Ba'neth are a non-humanoid sentient species which has developed an extremely xenophobic and reclusive space faring civilisation as of the 22rd century. They possess 3 sets of tentacles on the side of their boyd, whihc can be used for either locomotion or prehension, along with another one at the back of their "neck", which is normally used over their head, and another one at the base of their body, whihc serves as a tail and to help stabilise them in a standing position.

BA'KU

Planet of origin: Unknown, relocated to Ba'Ku, a ringed planet in The Briar Patch, AKA Klach D'Kel Brakt, in the Milky Way, a region containing dangerous space matter including the remains of supernovae, false vacuum fluctuations, metaphasic radiation and at least two habitable planets, one of which was Ba'Ku.
The Ba'ku are a humanoid species almost indistinguishable from humans, which, in the early 21st century, developed a civilization capable on space travel as well as the means of building weapons of mass destruction which brought them to the brink of self-annihilation. A small, enlightened group of the Ba'ku people escaped the horror of their homeworld and found an isolated planet where they followed a simple way of life and prohibited themselves from using technology. The metaphasic radiation in the planet's rings caused their aging process to significantly decelerate, making them nearly immortal.
A younger generation, eager to explore the galaxy, rebelled against their elders. Unsuccessful, they were exiled in the late-23rd century and eventually became the Son'a people, a nomadic interstellar power, living under the direction of the Son'a Command. Narcissistic and materialistic, they put great values in metals and ores and raided inhabited worlds for these resources, often using slave labor. Without the regenerative effects of the Ba'ku homeworld's metaphasic radiation, they became infertile and worked heard ot retard their death by any possible means, including genetic manipulation and surgical techniques. Some sociologists attributed their aggressive behavior to desperation.
In 2375, First Contact between the Ba'ku and the Federation was established during a failed cultural observation mission, when a monitoring post was discovered on the planet. This came at a moment of tensions between the Ba'ku, the So'na, the two groups were reunited.

B'SAARI

Planet of Origin: B'Saari II, the 2nd planet of a solar system of the same name, circa a 100 light-years from Earth, near the star Denobula.
The B'Saari were an intelligent spacefaring species which were the first species whith whom the Denobulans made contact, some times prior to the 19th century. They had a technique for reviving the deads reminiscent of the one exhibited in the film Frankenstein, which left the rivived with functionning with basic neural and metabolic functions.

BO'MAR

The B'omar are a sentient xenophobic humanoid species which developed an isolationist faster than light space faring civilisation that established itself on several worlds of the Delta Quadrant, the quadrant of the Milky Way opposite to the one Earth it in. Their government was known as the B'omar Sovereignty. Externally, they ressemble humans with the exception of a cranial ridge that prolonge itself to the end of their nose, which much flatter and wider than that other humans, with nostrils far apart.
The B'omar were neighbors with the Nassordin, with whom they had delicate trade negotiations.

NEPTUNIANS

Planet of Origin: Neptune
Neptunians are a green skinned reptilian humanoid species supposedly native to the planet Neptune or one of its moons. They are amphibious with four fingers palmed hands and feet, have large yellow eyes on each sides of their head whihc gives them an excellent line of sight. Their body is covered in scales. Although their level of civilisation still remains unknown, they are known to have developed sewing craft as their use of clothing demonstrates.
Note: In 1975, the Mego toy company produced the so-called action figure doll as part of their Star Trek aliens toy line although such a creature never appeared at any time inside the  franchise.

CETACEANS / WHALES

Planet of origin: a world in the Sagittarius arm of the Milky Way
The Cetaceans are a species who developed had developed an advanced civilisation who developed space faring technology after having survived their planet being hit by an asteroid while all the land-based species perished.
They sent out probes throughout the Galaxy and established some colonies on other worlds such as Earth, several thousands years ago, where they devolved into either becoming or blending with the planet's cetacean population.
Another cetacean ship passed by Earth in the 23rd century to make sure their colonists were safe.

MALURIANS

Planet of Origin: Malur, a planet in a system containing 3 inhabitable planet in the Sol system vicinity of the  Milky Way galaxy.
The Malurians are a scaly, gray-skinned humanoid species which had developed a warp-capable spacefaring civilisation as the the 2150ies, at whihc point their total population was of four billion people spread on the four inhabited planets of their sytem.
Wandering off their system, they started to secretely mine the veridium isotope found on the planet Akaali whose inhabitants developed a sickness due to the use of  drilling equipment saturated with tetracyanate 622 by the Malurians.
Their whole population was later wiped out  by the Earth space probe Nomad in 2267.  (TOS: "The Changeling")  (ENT: "Civilization")

AKRITRIANS

Planet of Origin: Akritri, a planet in the Milky Way situated on the side opposite to Earth.
The Akritirians are a humanoid species looking  much like the humans from Earth but for a slight ridging on their forehead which developed a warp-capable space faring civilization with a very harsh and oppressive irreversible legal system. They kept their criminals in an off-world penitencial space station where they were fitted with a synaptic stimulator which could induce them to kill each other by inducing aggression and paranoia.

Arcturians

Planet of Origin: Arcturus IV, a heavily populated planet with 7 moons which orbits the K star Arcturus, 37 light years from Earth.
The Arcturians are a humanoid species who developed a militaristic civilisation who achieved space travel and where individuals reproduce by cloning. They were members of the same space federation as Earth in the 2270ies. They have reddish-gray skin, which formed heavy folds on their face and forehead and large.

Planet of Origin: Acamar III, the 3rd planet orbiting
The Acamarians are a humanoid species which had developed a spacefaring civilization as of th 23rd century. They manaded to acheive global peace toward the end of the same century after a history of clan rivalries and violent feuding. ORNITHOIDS

Ornithoid lifeforms were a sentient species with substantial mental abilities from outside the Milky Way Galaxy.which developed an advanced spacefaring civilisation able to cross intergalacitc distances.
Being very fragile, they usually needed transmuter technologies that enhanced their powers to survive in environments suited for humanoid lifeform.
Two Ornithoid explorers are known to have been sent ot the Milky Way in the 23th century but died due to complication in their first contact with humans on Pyris VII.

DENOBULANS

Planet of Origin: Denobula, the only planet orbiting  the star Denobula Triaxa AKA Iota Bootis, some 95 light years from Earth, in the Milky Way galaxy.
Denobulans are near-human looking humanoids with prominent facial ridges running down either side of the forehead to the cheeks, an enlarged brow ridge under a high receded hairline, a vertical crevice in the center of the forehead, and a ridged chin. They also have ridges on their back, along the spine. Their toenails are  dark brown and yellow striped, and they grow so rapidly that they need to be groomed once a week. Denobulans also had very long tongues, and they used tongue scrapers. Denobulan males had a line of hair down the middle of their chest, up to their throat. . They  have the ability to enlarge their faces when they feel threatened.  and they can change their eye color depending on their moods. . They  normally require  very little sleep, but do hibernate for five to six days each year. However, at a minimum, two days are sufficient. If a Denobulan is awakened prematurely, the results can be somewhat unpredictable; hibernating Denobulans, if woken, appeared extremely disoriented and confused, with oddly-pitched voices, and had difficulty maintaining normal motor skills and cognitive functions. Denobulans have  highly-efficient natural climbing abilities similar to those of Earth lizards, being capable of scaling vertical rock faces at a rapid speed with no equipment whatsoever, appearing to scuttle up the rock face without needing to find handholds and possess particularly powerful immune systems. Their exact life expectancy  is not known, but indications suggest that lifespans are extremely long.
On their homeworld,  the twelve billion Denobulan inhabitants all share one continent, resulting in  Denobulan culture having come to embrace close, communal lifestyles.  Denobulan medical ethics considers  a patient's will to be absolutely binding, including his denial to be cured or live.  Denobulans are typically polyamorous, where a man typically has three wives, who each has three husbands lcreating extremely large extended families. In addition, marriages are not exclusive, and married Denobulans can be intimate with anyone they chose. The females emit powerful pheromones during their mating season. Male Denobulans often became combative during this time, and mating can require medical supervision. Denobulans typically preferr to be among large groups and find solitude uncomfortable. However, Denobulans, at least males, are uncomfortable being touched by persons they are not intimate with and are more sexually inhibited than the females of their species.  Although Denobulans don't keep pets, they tend to address or greet animals they meet by imitating their sounds, even insects.
Since the 20th century, the Denobulans practiced genetic engineering, with generally positive results and, by the 22nd century, the Denobulans had experimented with nanotechnology.
The Denobulans believed they were the only intelligent species in the galaxy until the B'Saari made first contact.  Denobulans fought several wars against the Antaran species. The last one was during the late 19th century. Denobulan battle tactics killed twenty million Antarans. Both species demonized each other). As of the 22nd century, there were still some Denobulans that hated Antarans, although most had outgrown the hatred. . The Denobulans first met the Human race sometime prior to the 2130s. By the 2130s, Denobulans and Humans had built the joint research station Cold Station 12. When the Vulcans formed the Interspecies Medical Exchange, Denobulans were involved and contributed medical personnel. . In 2155, a Denobulan ambassador was sent to Earth to join in talks of forming a Coalition of Planets.
