ZHALLA'KLANS

Planet of Origin: Zhall'Kla
Zhalla'Klans are sexuate sentient humanoids with a biology based on cristals that developed an advanced pacific non-expansionnist civilisation. Zhalla'Khans are extremely long lived, able to survive in the void of space, capable of faster-than-light movement through interestellar space, of matter and energy manipulation and transmutation of living matter. They also possess a precognitive sense that allow to detect "fortuitous points in (their) destinies" such as meeting potential mates. Only one Zhalla'Klan is known to have left his homeworld. It passed on Earth in 1981.

CENTAURIANS

Planet of Origin: Fourth planet orbiting the B1 start Beta Centauri, 500 light years from Earth. An earth-type planet with lush vegetation.
The Centaurians are hairless blue skinned humanoids with, two eyes, two arms with hands that five fingers with and opposable thumb, two legs that are connected to feet that have five toes. Adults have large red fin from the the back of the pelvis to the front of their forehead.  Some are known to have developed psychic powers.
They have developed a tribal, pre-industrial civilisation, using bows and arrows.  The Centaurians are broken of into two sects depending on their beliefs. The first sect is the Habaktu, they are followers of the Circle of Life, which is their people's holy path and is guided by sharing a oneness with the deity Anthos. The second sect is known as the Akuun, those without faith.

ACANTI

Benevolent and compassionate by nature, The Acanti are a species of peaceful sentient kilometers long  reddish brown whale-like, space-faring extraterrestrial beings. They possess dorsal, ventral, lateral, and caudal fins, as well as green eyes widely spaced on their heads.  They communicate through psionic sounds referred to as songs. Acanti have the innate ability to fly faster than the speed of light, without technological assistance.
A long time ago, the Acanti were led by one individual known as the Prophet-Singer. The Prophet-Singer was the repository of the Acanti's racial Soul, a collective semi-mystical force that linked and motivated the Acanti species. As death approached, the Acanti typically hurled themselves into stars. The Prophet-Singer of each generation would also do so, releasing the Soul to join the body of the next Prophet-Singer.
Upon migrating to the Milky Way galaxy, the Brood species began to enslave the Acanti to take advantage of their natural ability to travel at speeds exceeding light. The Brood would infect individual Acanti with a disease known as the Slaver Virus, which would destroy the higher cognitive functions of their minds, making them ripe for easy control. Then, the Brood would transform the mindless husks into living starships. The Brood succeeded in enslaving the Acanti Prophet-Singer, and when he eventually died and crashed on a planet, its body was reconstructed as the "throne city" (presumably like a capital) on the planet (referred to as "Broodworld" or "Sleazeworld") that the Brood then established as the center of their empire. Thus, the Soul remained trapped in the skull of the dead Prophet-Singer.
Salvation for the Acanti came when a new Prophetsinger was born, however, without transferring the soul to him, the Acanti were still stuck near Sleazeworld. Only when the SOul was freed by external intervention in 1982 did the Soul unite with the young Prophet-Singer, who assumed leadership of the Acanti.

MAKLUANS / KAKARANTHARAIANS

Planet of Origin:  Kakaranathara (Aka Maklu IV), the fourth planet orbiting the star Maklu in the Milky Way galaxy.
Makluans are a reptilians species which has developed a highly advanced and peaceful democratic interstellar space faring society.
A Makluan spaceship crashlanded in ancient China. Makluans are said to have been seen on Earth at the time as far as Camelot around the same time, and possibly other places as well. Makluans's  shapeshifting abilities made them able to walk among men without being recognised.
Makluans can function both as biped and quadruped; with green skin that average 32' in height when upright, reptilian scales, dragon-like wings, an elongated neck with rows of spikes running down the spine & tail, antennae, fan-like earlobes & clawed hands & feet. Their metabolism grants them rapid healing & the ability to regenerate certain of their body parts, entering a hibernationary state to accomplish this. Makluans are able to survive in the vacuum of space or under water for extended periods. Their lifespan is counted in centuries.Their wings endow them with flight capabilities under the speed of sound. They exhibit limited telepathy and  have natural shape-shifting abilities which allow them to assume a multitude of forms, able to alter not only their physical appearence but also their size, weight & mass by many orders of magnitude. If these polymorphic abiliites are inherent ot the species or has been artificially acquired s is unknown but it has been observed that individuals are able to transfer their life essence into the body of another living entity in case of death or serious injury; having done so, they are often able to transform the possessed body into their true form via their shape-shifting abilities. They can also exhale a corrosive chemical mist from their mouth, resembling fire, with varying degrees of intensity & accuracy.
Known individuals:  Fin Fang Foom, Axonn-Karr (who gave power rings to the Mandarin)

ASGARDIANS

Planet of Origin: Unknown but their current place of residence is Asgard, a place situated in a wormhole network (of which Earth is part) englobing 9 worlds. Asgardians have developed the Bifrost technology enabling them to teleport themselves instantaneously to any of the 9 worlds using the subspace network of the wormhole.
Asgardians are a highly advanced humanoid species. Earth'sNorsemen and Germanic tribes used to worship the Asgardians nearly a millennium ago. Even though certain Gods are still interested in humanity such as Thor, the Asgardians do not have any more active worshippers or seek to have any. Asgardian flesh and bone is about three times denser than similar human tissue, contributing to the Asgardians superhuman strength and weight. An average male god can lift up to 30 tons while an average female can lift up to 25 tons, but there are those that exceed these specifications. They  are also gifted with extremely long life, but are not immortal. They are also immune to all terrestrial diseases and are highly resistant to conventional forms of injury. The metabolism of the Asgardians gives them superhuman endurance in all physical activities. Their close genetic and morphologic resemblance with humans leads to believe that those two species, along with the other ones of the the 9 realms could be of a same origin.
Asgardians residing on theworld of Vanaheim are refered to as Vanir while the ones residing in Asgard itself are refered to as Aesir.
The other species of the 9 realms are:
  • The Dwarves: Dwarves are small and stocky with an average height of 4 feet. Dwarves live in Nidavellir and maintain peaceful relations with the Gods. They tend to be either craftsmen or farmers and have created weapons for use by the Gods such as Mjolnir and the spear, Gungnir.

  • The Elves: The two types of elves that inhabit the land are the Light Elves and the Dark Elves. The Light Elves live in Alfheim while the Dark Elves live underground in Svartalfheim. Both species are similar in the respect that their body types can differ greatly in size anywhere from 4 feet to 8 feet, and have proportionally long limbs. Light Elves have lighter skin tones while Dark Elves are darker.

  • The Demons lives in the realm of Muspelheim. Demons are similar in size to the Gods, but are engulfed in fire. They tend to be nomads but will travel into other dimensions for the purpose of war. All Demons are the offspring of the fire demon who is said to be older than asgaridn culture, Surtur.

  • The Giants: the Giants live on Jotunheim. They are also humanoid, but are more Neanderthal-like in body structure. They are the traditional enemies of the asgardians with whom they fought a millenia-long war that ended in 965 after they tried to settle on Earth. They were repelled to their homeworld, which was devastated and left without means to travel using the Bifrost network. Most stand up to 20 feet tall, but some can reach 30 feet. Giants usually lead a hunter/gatherer type of life, but will war with the asgardians on occasion because they are jealous of their superior abilities. The first of the Giants was the Ice Giant, Ymir, who existed before any of the Asgardians. Many different races of Giants arose in Jotunheim, including the Ice, Mountain, Rime, Storm, and Frost Giants. The Frost Giants are the direct descendants of Ymir. The Giant Laufey was another monarch who lost the war  against the Asgardians; In tribute to Laufey's courage and to try to seal a peace treaty with tthe giants, the asgardian king Odin adopted the giant's infant son Loki. Two other giants of note were Fafnir II and Fasolt (both deceased), who built Odin's palace in Valhalla in exchange for a Goddess, and battled over a magic ring and treasure that was given for the Goddess being released. Giants have also been known to reproduce half-breeds that look like asgardians.

  • The Trolls: Trolls are massive creatures covered in hair with an orange skin tone. They average in at 7 feet, and they live in settlements scattered throughout the land. The trolls are incredibly strong, surpassing the strength of the asgardians, and puts them on similar ground with the Giants.Thor. Trolls usually work as miners and metal workers.

OVOIDS / BIRKEELS

Planet of Origin: Birkeel, the third planet orbiting the star Jantsak in the Wilky Way galaxy.
A highly enlightened and peace-loving species, the Ovoids successfully conquered death itself. Able to place their essences in fresh, new bodies when their old ones had become too aged or infirm, the Ovoids were virtually immortal.
Although their overall popualtion is of 5 millions individuals, they have developed a space faring but non-expansionnist civilisation.
They possess the mental ability of telekinesis.
They are thin 8 ft tall humanoids with an enlarged heads and yellow skin, and therefore look a lot like taller rigellians but no proof has yet been given leading to believe that both species are related.

RIGELLIANS / COLONISERS

Planet of Origin: Rigel 3, in the Milky Way Galaxy
Rigellians are humnaoid species which developed an interstellar technocratic empire. Their leaders are generally elected due to their high intelligence. Their leader is known as the Grand Commissioner.
They are a humanoid species, looking much like humans with larger heads and a yellow skin tone. They possess psionic abilities which allow them to control others mentally or physicallyt. They can also mentally change their physical density at the speed of thought which allows them to resist any physical forces. They thrive to build an empire via colonization.
The Rigellians are skilled in robotics and have created a race of robotic lifeforms called the Recorders. The Recorders are generally used as scouts to explore new territory and report back to the Rigellians.
Their overall population is of 17.7 billions individuals.
They possess Advanced warp-drive starships, manipulation of subatomic particles, teleportation, robotics, ability to move planets via tractor beams and space warps.
Note: Although smaller, they otherwise look much like Ovoids.

KRONANS / "STONE MEN FROM SATURN"

Planet of Origin: Planet Ria, star system Krona, Milky Way Galaxy. They had a base on one of Saturn's moon in the 1960ies. base on one of Saturn's moons
The Kronans are 8 feet tall 2000 lbs silicon based humanoid lifeforms that had already developed an advanced space faring Military dictatorship as of 3000 BC. Their bodies are composed of a strong, silicon like substance, granting them proteciton against most physical harm. Within an oxygen-based atmosphere, they possess enhanced strength. They can consume minerals such as coal or shale as food. Kronans reproduce by holding hands and immersing them within a pool of lava (traditionally Mount Krona on the homeworld); after days of merging and hardening, the hands break apart, releasing the newborn "rockling."
Their space technology is based on gravitic manipulation and they possess advanced cybernetic skills.
Around 3,000 BC, the Kronans attempted an invasion of earth. Landing in ancient Babylon, they fought King Gilgamesh of Uruk, who vanquished them with the aid of a time-travelling Captain America. The Kronans fled to their vessel and abandoned earth. (As narrated in (Captain America Annual#11 (1992))
In 1962, the Kronans landed an immense invasion force in Norway. Sighted by Dr. Donald Blake, they pursued him into a cave, where Blake discovered the hammer of Thor. The Kronans went on to attack NATO forces, driving them off with an illusionary dragon. When Thor came to fight them, they lowered a cage over him to capture him, but he smashed through. They aimed their disintegrators at him, but he smashed them with his hammer. Finally, they unleashed the Mechano-Monster, but Thor destroyed it with a single blow. Terrified of Thor, the Kronans fled earth. (As narrated in (Journey Into Mystery I#83 (August, 1962).

BANARI

Planet of Origin: A planet mostly covered in water near Fomalhaut.
The Banari are an amphibian humanoid species from an aquatic world who have developed some limited space faring capacities and genetic engiennering. They have engineered a powerful sub-race known as the Haab to serve them. Some time ago, the Banari were struck by a virus which decimated their male population. The remaining males took multiple females for mates, but the population continued to dwindle. Some of them left the homeworld to look for a new virus vree world and crashed into Earth's atlantic ocean in 1973. In the early 199ies, their homeworld was conquered by the Fomalhauti. The Fomalhauti placed them and the Haab into servitude.

THE GREAT ONE

The Great One is a unique spacebound being of immense psychic power He seeks out planets whose populations are threatened and offers them protection, converting both planet and population into brainwaves retained with his mind. As such, planets and its populations can exist in close proximity to other worlds without risk of physical (or other) damage. Beings within the Great One's mind are granted safety from outside influence as well as a sense of contentment. Further, as they are now a series of thought patterns, those within the Great One do not age.
The Great One's true form is a brain-like structure the size of a small moon which travels in the depths of space. It exists in a dream-like state, having little interaction with the outside world except when it adopts other planets. It is protected from outside attack by a virtually impenetrable shield which is generated by its autonomic nervous system. Within his mind, he is virtually all-powerful, though every object within the universe he creates is a part of his mind, and he can suffer brain damage from its destruction.
Within his mindscape he projects a mental construct of himself, presumably using a form matching that of each race he visits, though somewhat larger in stature.
The Great One died in 1991 after entering a coma following a fight with the Silver Surfer.

ZENN-LAVIANS

Planet of Origin: Zenn-La, the thirs planet orbiting the star Deneb in the Milky Way galaxy, approximately 3,000 light years from Earth.
Zenn-Lavians are peaceful humanoids which developed an highly advanced technologicla and spiritual civilisation.
A million years ago, Zenn-La was home to a barbaric and violent polytheistic civilisation. Ten thousands years ago, desperate to preserve what was left of their race, the Zenn-Lavians turned to science to rebuild their world. That was the start of a Golden Age of Reason during which they overcame war, poverty, crime, disease, want and old age, as their lifespans increased to thousands of years. They sent space missions to explore most of the local group of galaxies but , non-expansionnists and sdentary, they soon withdrew to their homeworld and grew apathetic and indulgent in their utopia, with all of their needs cared for by machines.
When the Devourer of Worlds, Galactus, came to consume Zenn-La, one man, Norrin Radd, made a pact to become his herald in return for Zenn-La's safety. Radd was transformed into the being known as the Silver Surfer and left his homeworld for the stars.
In 1947, an entity known as the Other came to Zenn-La and completely erased all signs of life and civilization from the planet while putting Galactus and the Surfer who were in the same star system, catatonic. In an uncharacteristic act of compassion, Galactus recreated everything, restoring the people and the entire world exactly as it was. No one, including the Surfer, was aware of what had transpired.
In 1966, after decades of service to Galactus, the Silver Surfer was exiled and imprisoned on Earth. As the Surfer had betrayed his master, Galactus felt he was no longer obligated to keep his vow. He returned to Zenn-La and announced his intention to consume the planet. In another remarkable allowance, Galactus allowed twenty-four hours for the Zenn-Lavians to flee the doomed world, though only about 500 individuals would survive. Galactus then stripped the planet bare of the energies he craved, leaving behind a barren and devastated wasteland. Months later, the Zenn-Lavians deemed it safe to return, and set up refugee camps to live in. They blamed the Silver Surfer for what happened, and a deep resentment festered in them. The Surfer gave a female Zenn-Lavian a portion of his power cosmic, which allowed her to slowly restore life-sustaining properties to the planet, including abundant regeneration of plant life.
In 1988, Zenn-La suffered an invasion attempt by the Skrulls and, later, by the Kree. The Surfer, now self-appointed protector of his homeworld, made an agreement that he would stay neutral in their conflict if neither power would attack Zenn-La. The Surfer was tricked into defending the Skrulls from the Badoon, who, he later found out, had allied with the Kree. This drew Zenn-La into the war. In 1989, The Skrulls declared a temporary truce with the Kree, which brought back peace to Zenn-La.
In 1991, the Zenn-Lavians were approached by the Great One, a massive, technologically-augmented brain. Through telepathic communication, the Great One informed the Zenn-Lavians that he had to power to transform the entire planet into psionic energies, protecting them forever with his mind. He would not force such a gift upon any race, however, and it was the Zenn-Lavians choice to accept it or not. Realizing that the Silver Surfer could not protect them against every threat, the people of Zenn-La agreed almost unanimously to accept the Great One's offer and removed it from physical space and changing it into a simulation inside of its brain. The Surfer discovered this and infiltrated the simulation.
Though the Surfer tried to communicate with the Great One, it attacked him and the Surfer was eventually forced to fight back. During the fight, part of the Great One's brain was permanently and fatally damaged and fell into coma. With his cosmic power and the fuel of a nearby red star, and what was left of the Great One's power, the Surfer was able to restore the planets left in the Great One's mind to their previous places. Angered by the loss of their sanctuary, the Zenn-Lavians were bakc in the physical universe but rejected the Surfer.

LUPHOMOIDS

Planet of Origin: Luphom in the Andromeda Galaxy
The Luphomoids were an aggressive humanoid species which developed a space faring military dictatorship. They have superior physical strenght and pale bluish skin.
Their homeworld was destroyed by the Galactus entity while they were trying to invade Xandar. Theur invasion failed but Xandar was destroyed in the process.
Source: Marvel Universe, Nova #1 (1976)

XANDARIANS

Planet of Origin: Xandar in the Trant system in the Andromeda Galaxy
The Xhandarians were a humanoid species closely ressembling humans which developed an highly advanced peaceful technological Constitutional monarchy. They have developed warp-drive starships, robots, cyborg, and cybernetic technology, energy weaponry, phase tube transportation technology, Stargate transportation technology and the soullinking technology known as the Worldmind.
They established the Nova Corps, a space militia and exploration division. It consisted of 500 soldiers ranging in rank from Corpsman up to Centurion and its leader, Centurion Nova Prime. The Corps also had a regiment of Syfon Warriors.
In the 1980ies, their planet was destroyed in the 1980ies during an attack by the Luphomoids. Xandarian civilization survived within the Xandar Cluster, an interconnected field of asteroids that housed the surviving domed cities of what was once the planet of Xandar.
The Nova Corps opened to more members and expanded its protective range to include the entire Andromeda Galaxy and Earth. They are also known as the Xandarian StarCorps. The Xandarian Queen, in the role of Prime Commandant, had ultimate authority of the Nova Corps.
They used an energy source called the Nova-Force, which all Nova Centurions wield and which came from the Worldmind, Xandar's primary source of knowledge, energy and power.
The Xandarians have preserved the minds of their deceased brothers and sisters, linking them together in the Worldmind, creating a governing system unlike any across the Universe. The Worldmind served as a Multiple Mind Democracy using the knowledge of it´s deceased citizens to make decisions for Xandar and the Nova corps.
The Worldmind contains and controls the Nova Force, the cosmic energy that provides the Nova Corps and its members with extraordinary abilities. Those abilities consist of the ability of flight, super strenght and a connection to the Worldmind itself. Those who are higher ranked in the Nova corps can tap into more powers such as the ability to open stargates, energy blasts and the release of a brief but devastating electromagnetic burst.
The Xandar Cluster withstood several failed invasions among them, one of the Skrulls, with whom they had previously maintained good terms (which allowed them to develop independantly within the Skrull's galaxy) but resisted until 2008 when they were wiped out , along with the Nova Corps by the Annihilation Wave.
The Worldmind managed to survive the destruction of the Cluster by downloading itself in the mind of the Corps's only survivor and later merged with the sentient wandering planet Ego.

STRONTIANS

Planet of Origin: Strontia in the Triangulum Galaxy
The Strontians are humanoids with a purplish skin pigmentation, which look externally a lot like humans. They possess exceptional cognitive abilities that allow them to achieve what ever they believe. This makes them potentially extremely powerful and invulnerable to most harm. Their abilities has been known to manifest itself in extreme cases in traits like superhuman strength allowing them to life several hundred tons, speed, reflexes, stamina; durability allowing them to withstand the blast of a supernova; heat vision stated as hotter than the heart of stars; frost breath and warpspeed flight capacities. Whatever their power's level, they remain vulnerable to a certain form of rare radiations.
They are a proud race of warriors who valued nothing above honor and duty. This made their fealty to the Shi'ar, under whose rule they live, was without question. While they possess an advanced civilisation, the extend of what they actually developed and what was brought to them by the Shi'ar remains unknown.
Source: Marvel Universe, the first strontian to appear in media was Gladiator of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard in X-Men #107 (1977) . His species was not presented though until War of Kings Warriors #1, 2009)

SYMBIOTES

A symbiote is a living, sentient, extraterrestrial organism that bonds with other living organisms in order to survive. Since it has no classifying name, it is referred to as a symbiote because of its symbiotic relationships. Often symbiotes are called "living costumes" because of the way the amorphous creatures envelop their hosts. They have incredible adaptive attributes and quickly gain similar powers to the superhuman they bond to. They are extremely deadly and have murderous urges on a regular basis. Some symbiotes are known to threaten to eat their victims' brains, among other organs.
The symbiote enhances the physical attributes of its host, commonly increasing their strength and speed to superhuman levels as well as granting them a range of other powers such as transformation and mass-alteration.
Symbiotes were originally an unfeeling, conquering race, taking over any species they came in contact with to feed off their emotions; this mainly involved adrenaline rushes from death-defying feats and, as a consequence, the hosts tend to be short-lived. It is unclear where the symbiotes actually originated, but it is known that their species existed for millions of years. Galactus, devourer of worlds, consumed a world which they had taken over and where they had thrived.
Most symbiotes have been shown to be capable of great feats of violence and deception. In a strange twist of nature versus nurture, it seems that a symbiote's personality may be based on an amalgamation of the memories and thoughts that have been collected from the various hosts and stored within its genetic memory.

Symbiotes are naturally weakened by intense sounds and intense heat - especially large fires. Additionally, they are also weakened by magnesium. However as a symbiote spawns a child, a natural evolution seems to not only increase their strengths, but also reduce their weaknesses. Even already existing symbiotes can mutate and develop these resistances.
Symbiote are beleived to require certain chemical (most likely phenethylamine) to stay sane and healthy, which has been said to be found abundantly in two sources: chocolate and human brain tissue. Thus, the host is forced to steal/buy large amounts of chocolate or become an unwilling cannibal who devours the brains of those he kills.
Symbiotes empower the natural abilities of a host to the point where they far exceed that of normal members of the hosts' species. These abilities include the following:

* Superhuman strength.
* Superior speed and agility, enhances other physical attributes as well.
* Enhanced durability and resistance to damage.
* Genetic memory, recalling information from previous hosts.
* Enhanced healing ability.
* Can expand to any size as long as they have something to grow on such as a host or an object. Symbiotes can get inside of small areas such as electric wires and the insides of cars and completely disable them. The symbiote also reacts to the thoughts and will of the host.

The following are functions that have been demonstrated from various hosts' wills:

* The ability to form fangs or simple bladed weapons out of their limbs.
* The ability to form tendrils from their body
* The ability to shape-shift, from mimicking clothing up to and including complete change of appearance and stature.
* The ability to stick to walls.
* The ability to produce webbing from its own mass.
* The empathic ability to project desires and needs into the thoughts of its host or potential hosts.
* Can sense the presence of other beings within a certain distance.
* The ability to create storage portals inside of them.

SHI'AR

The Shi'ar are oviparous humanoids of avian descent; resembling humans with feathered crests atop their heads in lieu of hair. They have light hollow bones, and some vestigial feathers on their forearms, left of wings that were lost over evolution. Through freak genetic throwbacks, some individuals still possess wings which allow them to fly. The average Shi'ar can lift 1 ton in earth-like gravity and has far greater stamina.
With a monarchic society, they are expansionnist and aggressively absorb new cultures. While the empire has grown to include hundreds of thousands of different sentient species and worlds, the Shi'ar race controls and governs the empire. Its central base of power is located on the "throneworld" Chandilar, while the Shi’ar homeworld is called Aerie. Leadership of the empire is am hereditary position, occupied by members of the royal family. The Shi'ar Empire is one of the most advanced and expansive civilizations in the universe, spanning an entire galaxy and spawning into others. It is mainly an economic co-operative, where trade is the driving force. Though having warlike and militaristic ancestry, the Shi'ar Empire has largely occupied the role of peacekeepers in many interstellar affairs.
In 1992, the Shi'ar annexed the Kree Empire at the end of the Kree-Shi'ar but internal affairs made the Shi’ar abandon their dominion soon after. Most recently, The Shi'ar have had contact with the Spartoi, described as an equally advanced distant race.
The Shi'ar possess faster than light starships, force fields, faster than light communication, teleportation technology, advanced holographic technology and Cloaking technology, Stargates network system used for travel to faraway distances, both planet-based used for personal travel and space-based versions used for starships to travel through, Starcracker technology that can cause stars to go supernova.
