Saticons are a mysterious faceless humanoid entities of unknown origin. They travel in groups of three, wear long, black garments, and bowler hats. The lead Saticon had a sun-like icon on the front of his hat.
Saticons can travel from planet to planet by means yet unknown and have access to highly advanced technological knowledge. When seen, they always seem to be after an object of power with which they want to accomplish some terrible feat.

Saticons got there name a thing in a tv set, called a Saticon Tube.In older video cameras, before the mid to late 1980s, a video camera tube or pickup tube was used instead of a charge-coupled device (CCD) for converting a video image into an electrical signal. Several types were in use from the 1930s to the 1980s. The most commercially successful of these tubes were various types of cathode ray tubes or "CRTs".
Saticons were kind of weird, but neat because suggested some sort shodowy Men in Black criminal types.Too Irwin Allen didn't evolve this concept more-since had potential.Innovation Comics had alien tentacled creatures, behind Aolis 14 Umbra or something.I don't agree with this version, since they clearly had feet, not tentacles under the robes. They were clearly humanoid in shape.
